Malus Granita AKA Live Resin Sno Cone

As it heats up across California, there’s no better way to serve infused treats than to freeze them! This Malus-infused granita is a super easy, make-ahead dish that you can serve on a hot afternoon for an icy-infused treat. The granita is icy and crystalized with a lovely ginger-apple flavor, and eats like a live resin-infused sno cone, with an elegant twist. 

Simply use a spoon to scrape into a nice bowl or glass, top with lime zest, and enjoy!

Malus Granita Ingredients

Serves Four

  • 2 cans of Harmony Craft Beverages Malus Granny Smith OG
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water 
  • 1 knob ginger smashed 
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

Combine 1/4 cup water, 1/4 sugar and 1 tablespoon lime juice; heat in a small sauce pot until sugar is dissolved.  Cover and set aside to cool and infuse ginger flavor.  

Once cool add lime juice.

Open two cans of Malus.  Pour out into a medium sized (9×9)  glass or metal shallow pan.  Strain the simple syrup mixture directly in the pan and freeze for overnight until frozen solid.

Scrape and serve with lime zest.
